Date of Travel: Sep 2007 Flying from: Sydney Airport Flying to: Auckland International Airport Class: Business Recommended: No Submitted By: Alan Bone Comments: I flew to Auckland last weekend Business class and returned Business class on Emirates.
No Comparison, Emirates are light years ahead in every way.
More room in Business class than Qantas, Excellent food and better lounge with Emirates.
Qantas always disappoints on the trans Tasman with economy class food in business. Emirates on the other hand serve the equivalent of Qantas First class in business class.
When is Qantas going to realise what the competition are doing?
I only fly Qantas when I have no other choice.
Date of Travel: May 2006 Flying from: London Heathrow Airport Flying to: Singapore Changi Airport Class: Economy Recommended: Yes Submitted By: Ryan Gray Comments: Having heard one or two horror stories about Qantas I have to say I was happy with my flight. Service from crew was excellent, the entertainment system was good but the Q-on demand was not working, but still a good selection to watch and listen too. Food was excellent, especially liked the snack-on-q goodie back to snack on. Loved the Cadbury's hot-chocolate through the night. Seats were ok, but get an aisle or window seat cause if your in the middle you will suffer.
I WILL FLY QANTAS AGAIN
Date of Travel: Feb 2002 Flying from: Sydney Airport Flying to: Auckland International Airport Class: Business Recommended: No Submitted By: Alan Comments: I am a frequent flyer with Qantas and my loyalty no longer there. Cabin service is really bad particularly on short to medium haul. Business class half full, meal selection was not available so choice a chicken dish which was disgusting did not eat the meal. I used to rate Qantas 5* now I would give it a zero rating for food and cabin service and a 5* for safety which really is more important. Etihad and Emirates are fast growing and recognized as the best for service in economy and Virgin Atlantic the best for Business travel.
