Date of Travel: Dec 2006 Flying from: Bangkok International Airport Flying to: London Heathrow Airport Class: Economy Recommended: No Submitted By: Adrian Comments: I flew out from the UK on the 28th of December from London Heathrow to Bangkok.
When I arrived to terminal three the check in desks were not open, I had to wait 3 hours till I could. I had problems checking in then on there system they could not find my e ticket number, my flight was supposed to leave at 21.30pm I did not leave until 2300.
The return journey from Bangkok to London Heathrow on January the 9th, was no better. When I arrived no check in desks open this was at 9.45am the flight out was at 13.10, when they did open the check in desks I was one person away from getting check in and I was given a piece of paper saying that there elite class was overbooked and they wanted economy passengers to give up there seats for 5900 Thai baht and a night in a hotel and the next day vip rooms to use.
It did not take me long to try and take up there offer, what a shambles I was directed to the information desk only to be told I do not know anything about this I said to the person you work for Eva, he just shrugged his shoulders and directed me a Eva airlines women who when I spoke to her turned her back on me, I then returned back to the check in desk and said about the offer they had given me only to be told that it was not on offer any more why I asked, you want people in elite class to give up there seats and economy passengers myself to give up mine for them so they can fly today, not needed was the reply. I said can you check me in I explained I had lost my place in the queue, after a while I got my way I was checked in at the business class desk.
Shabby, useless staff who do not know what they are supposed to be doing, ignorant by far the worst airline I have ever traveled with, food was luke warm. And one thing for sure I will never use again
