THANK YOU AIRMALTA AND THE 2 FRONT CABIN CREW
Date of Travel: Aug 2007 Flying from: Exeter Airport Flying to: Heraklion Airport Class: Economy Recommended: Yes Submitted By: Miss C Harrower Comments: We are part of a holiday club thing so we just paid for our flights. The flight was early! I don't rate Exeter's departure lounge but we sat down to plenty of room, right at the front, window seats. My brother and Step dad were sat in the extra legroom seats in front. We were on the Airbus 320 so plenty of room. We bought a comfort pack for £5 and its extremely good value! You get a fluffy blanket, eye mask, inflatable pillow and fleecy bag.
The in-flight meal was a joke though. Its not that it tasted horrible, it was fine but a baby would still be hungry after eating it. We bought some crisps anyway so we were OK.
Entertainment is good, Garfield then some movie with Katie Holmes in it. No radio sadly :(
We landed early and all in all a great flight!
Date of Travel: Aug 2007 Flying from: London Luton Airport Flying to: Malta Luqa Airport Class: Premium Economy Recommended: Yes Submitted By: Liz Comments: Flew Luton to Malta and return in August. Flights more or less on time, clean airbus 320. Leg room ok, but passenger in front of my husband reclined his seat for the whole journey which of course he was entitled to do, but didn't go down well with my husband as he is quite tall!
Nice to have an inclusive in-flight meal as helps to pass the time, food was as good as I've had.
The film kept my husband and son entertained throughout the flight. I loved the sat nav which showed the speed, altitude, outside temp and distance travelled/to destination.
All in all a good flight and would travel Air Malta again, only main criticism would be lack of communication from stewards/ pilot.
Date of Travel: May 2007 Flying from: Manchester Airport Flying to: Malta Luqa Airport Class: Economy Recommended: Yes Submitted By: R Gray Comments: Flown with Air Malta on several occasions over the past five years and I think they have really got their act together now. Flight crew are more polite than past experience, their new fleet of aircraft (Airbus) are excellent and now have adequate leg room and in flight movie. The standard of food is about average for any airline, lets face it unless you pay extra for first class you just will not get top nosh will you? Overall very good.
Date of Travel: Nov 2006 Flying from: London Luton Airport Flying to: Malta Luqa Airport Class: Economy Recommended: Yes Submitted By: Dewi Comments: I flew to Malta from Luton with Air Malta last week. The seats were OK but most people would need another inch of knee room to survive the 4 hour flight in good temper. Food was simply average. The best airlines in this class don't try to be too haut cuisine sophisticated! I think a decent filled bread roll choice of cheddar cheese, salad, or a meat with a simple fruit sweet and a couple of biscuits with tea or coffee would win.
On my flight I met MC System coming back from a Drum'n'Bass night. He calls the stewardess's "dinner ladies", but they get him special grub from the galley!
All on time and crew eager to please. Only complaint is the seat room.
