Date of Travel: Sep 2006 Flying from: John F. Kennedy International Airport Flying to: Dublin Airport Class: Premium Economy Recommended: Yes Submitted By: Not Specified Comments: I used Gold Circle points to upgrade to Premier. The Gold Circle check in at JFK was very efficient, and in no time at all we were airside.
The Gold Circle Lounge has a good selection of snacks and drinks, and a variety of seats (including loungers which one could easily have a good nap!)
Boarding was swift, and no sooner were we seated that champagne was offered (and gratefully accepted!).
Not long after take off canapés were offered and were excellent.
The menu was good, and out fillet beef was so tender! All food and drink served on either bone china or Waterford crystal which makes a nice change today!
Cabin crew were very friendly and were could not do enough to make us comfortable.
Premier seating is 2-2-2 on an Airbus 330. The leather seats do not fully recline, but given the excellent price (around 1200 to 1400 Euro if paying) it represents excellent value for money, and generous Gold Circle points.
Highly recommended!
